Considering all home users too we at GccLinux are also aiming to create
a large Open Source collection of applications and games for Jds Linux
and the up coming GccLinux Desktop. We compiled, packed and tested
every application and game that you can download directly from our site
or it is linked to the official site. All applications and games that
are available for download are either freeware or open source covered
by the GNU-GPL license. Applications and games available on this site
although aimed at JDS Linux, GccLinux Desktop it may also work on Suse
Linux.

Why GccLinux Desktop |

Why JDS Linux? Sun Java System has always been the most robust Linux distribution made and there for our distribution GccLinux Desktop
is being built to the JDS Linux standard using the JDS Linux
technology, but without all of Sun's propriety software. For example,
StarOffice has been replaced with OpenOffice, JavaMedia Player has been
replaced with Mplayer, Java Desktop help (F1) has been replaced with
OpenSource Gnome help, the default JDS green theme will be replaced by
GccLinux Theme as shown on the screen shot above. Although there are
over 100 available distros out there to download, we are a Gnome based
distro, and we concentrator all our efforts on stability, reliability
and speed. The Live CD will be available soon.
