For
those people who don.t know me. I began using Linux sometime in the
1997 time frame (the last version of Windozzze that I actually used was
Win 98 first edition). Cut my teeth on Mandrake 7.1 and have never
looked back. Was a keen RedHat user until they decided to stop
providing a distro for the little guy and concentrate on enterprise
customers. Also had a passionate affair with Progeny-1.0 until they
stopped in 2001 (only a geek can equate an affair with a distro - try
explaining that to your wife sometime . I did :) Absolutely fell in
love with the look and feel of JDS when it was known as .Mad Hatter.
and have been involved with JDS ever since. Along the way I taught
myself not only Linux (and Solaris for that matter), but how to build
packages, and have been addicted to building ever since. I am also
highly addicted to Beta testing, and have not run a stable version of
anything in the past couple of years (I actually hold the Sun record
for most login.s during the initial JDS3 Beta - 1020 login.s in a six
week period).
