There are several directories below this top level, which you may wish to explore, particularly as the follow-on to Sun developing ver 3 of JDS for the Linux platform suddenly ceased. It is only available as part of Solaris.
GCC Linux then took it up to develop a version that had none of the commercially sensitive corporately owned stuff in it. After waiting nearly a year, some of us who were part of the GCC Linux on-line community suddenly discovered what appears to be a buy-out of GCC by Oracle.
I would like to point you to two forum pages I saved; the first is dated October 2006, from the last time I logged into the GCC forums in October 2006, and the second is in new year 2007 when I eventually discovered "a" forum - but which would not accept my login. First one Second one
I think it very disappointing that the people who ran GCC Linux didn't get around to advise those who were part of their community that they were ceasing (although it certainly looked that way to me). We all waited and waited for twelve months or so, hoping to hear SOMETHING.
If you would like to contact me, you may do so at eagles (at) chatministries.org which is an alias on my real email address.
Directories below this top level, are SunJDS2, JDS2_downloads and gcclinux.OS - click on any of the links, they will load in a new window. You can also type those directory names into the url bar on your browser.
